Helping your business plan for a greener future.

Not everyone can charge at home. Offering EV chargers at work is a great employee benefit, and allows your business to reach its environmental goals and reduce its CO2 footprint.

Allocated parking

If you’re an employer who has dedicated parking spaces, the most efficient method of providing chargers is by installing within a certain number of bays depending on the number of EV drivers. We recommend using a ratio that requires chargers to be shared by staff, this simply ensures the highest levels of utilisation.

This efficiency results in staff benefitting from the lowest industry rates of electric and paying less to charge their vehicle at work, and as demand grows additional chargers can easily be added.

Shared parking

If your business is on a multi-tenant site, you and other neighbouring employers can certainly benefit from free EV chargers.

Usually contracted through the landowners, EVC recommends designating a small area in which the infrastructure for multiple EV chargers can be laid, but only installing a specific number of chargers. This strategy allows easy expansion as additional chargers can quickly be added as demand grows, but cleverly keeps utilisation at the highest levels to ensure low electric rates.
